Trail Maintenance Notes: one small blow down on lower trail, easy step over. Trail maintenance was out earlier and did a great job clearing all others.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Several dogs out on the trail, Coop had a great time as usual. Easy trail for dogs, even chimney is OK for trail hardened dogs.
Bugs: Too cold for them today
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: N/A
Comments: Lots of people out today on this holiday weekend. We got a late start, but finished in good time - about 5 hours - since trail is so gradual. Small patches of mud approaching summit of Osceola, much is avoidable. Skies cleared before we arrived at summit to great views under high clouds. A dusting of snow covered the trees at the summit, and patches of the ground, but most melted quickly.
