Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No issues on any crossing, Little River was actually far easier than expected. I looked like a ballet dancer leaping from rock to rock with wreckless abandon, the car was close by at this point. I totally nailed the final Tour J'ete.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: As mentioned in a prior trip report, there are several blowdowns that where far to large from my 10" saw in the immediate vicinity of the hut on Twinway. Several large blowdowns on North Twin. We took two large nagging ones that for us short folks require a running start to leap over
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Several dogs out
Bugs
Bugs: The cold and the wind helped keep them at bay

Comments
Comments: A FINE day in the Pemi. The low dew points aided in no rain overnight. All trails listed in fine shape. North Twin Spur is very dry. Found the pencil on North Twin and Gale. No need for spikes. No views today but the company and conversation where top notch. Spotted a few ladyslippers around the reroute of Gale River Trail, before 2 mile brook. Nice frosted tips on the trees today. Several familiar faces out today. 44 for May!
