| Comments: |
Highly recommend this route of the Wildcats from the south. The wilderness is rough and silent, and the ski trail makes for a delightful loop. The forest ambiance more than made up for the hit or miss views along the ridge due to the low clouds. Saw only 6 groups all morning. Next time I do Carter Dome I will definitely do it via Wildcat River/Rainbow. |
