|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All easily crossed with rock hops. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Cedar Brook trail had numerous blowdowns but not so many that they were annoying. Cedar brook trail has a couple of sections with running water and that made the rocks slippery. Small bog\mud hole at the height of land. Hancock loop trail was in great shape and the mud pits were almost dried up. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Lots of water on the hike except for the loop over the summit. |
|
| Bugs: |
Unbelievably there were very few. |

| Comments: |
Thought it was time that I gave Cedar brook a try. It isn't used very heavily and has a wild feel about it. Nice pile of rusty stuff at camp 24. Water all along the trail over to the Hancock Loop. Virtually no one on the East Side trail. 3 of the 5 people I saw were headed to bondcliff!! |
