Comments
Comments: I went determined to take pictures of the great views I saw 2 weeks ago. Alas, it was not to be as the summit was in the clouds. I spent about an hour at the summit and only got a peak here and a view of a silhouette there. I'm not convinced it cleared much until perhaps the evening.

Otherwise, I'm coming to really like this hike. Gale River Tr makes for a nice approach. While it does get steep toward Garfield Ridge, it's not that bad. Also, the last 0.8 mi is certainly persistant, but again, nothing different from a lot of other trails in the Whites. And in the end, you are (sometimes) rewarded with great beauty.
