Great day for the Hancocks. First time ascending the Arrow slide and it was a blast. There is still some water flow in a few spots on the slide about half way up and these parts are tricky and did my very best to avoid. I ended up popping out very close to the summit through some extremely thick, dense trees. With the exception of one very small spot of snow between N\S peaks trails are bare. i did notice some erosion descending from the South Peak. It was nice chatting with the three hikers at the summit as well as the six others i met on the way back. |
