Sarge had a blast, with the snowfield and snowmelt above treeline there is plenty of water. experienced hiking dogs will have no issues, others you'll need to monitor their paws because of the rocks |

| Comments: |
Didn't need light traction as the remaining snowfield on Lion Head Trail below the upper junction of Tuckerman Ravine Trail was soft and easy to get up and down, snow should be gone from this spot in a week.
Felt like mid summer up on the rock pile today even in the morning, nice quiet trails with only a few people seen. Could see a few skiers in the Bowl from Lion Head getting in some turns. |
