Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: two primary crossings on the way up, both of which were easy rock-hops resulting in dry feet.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in very good shape. Only the last quarter mile or so nearest the summit had some (quite) slippery mud.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Trail was certainly dog-friendly. Passed three groups with their pooches on the way down.
Bugs
Bugs: Minor mosquito annoyance at low elevation on the way up. Nothing thereafter.

Comments
Comments: Peak was in the clouds, so no visibility not that Hale has a view anyway. Trail was in really good shape overall. No blowdown to navigate, no snow left, no ice. Occasional wet spots in the trail, but nothing of concern. Worst part was some slippery mud near the summit, but this wasn't deep nor a problem other than watching your step.
