Another beautiful day in the Whites! This was #44 & #45 for Molly. 3 to go!
There was still a tiny bit of snow between the north and south summits. But leave the traction at home - you won't need it.
We were a bit confused over the whereabouts of the official South Kinsman summit. The Peakbagger app claimed it was the first one, but the second one has an 8 foot tall cairn that looked very official. We did both to cover our bases.
Stopped at Lonesome Lake Hut on the way back for brownies & lemonade, and to soak our feet in the pond - highly recommended! |
