Parking/Access Road Notes: Arrived at 7am on Saturday and lot was full. Parking on south side of Tripoli Road. After ending hike at 11am, lot and road were packed with cars for as far as one could see. Hike early

Water Crossing Notes: Easily avoidable ponding above 4000 ft. No real water issues on trail with easy stream crossings

Bugs: alot of flies at base/car, but disappeared once hiking began. Applied bug spray

Comments: Great day for a hike in the Whites. Trail was dry, with one easily avoidable patch of snow near peak. It was a pretty steady climb, perfect elevation gain to length ratio. Several views on the way up but the view at the top was absolutely outstanding.
