Comments
Comments: Falling Waters was dry to about 3500' where traces of monorail appeared. Monorail became intermittent but generally solid all the way to the ridge. We got by without spikes. Franconia Ridge was dry with just a few spots holding residual snow. The Greenleaf Trail had an intermittent monorail in the woods above the hut, also negotiable without spikes. OBP was generally dry and in good shape.
Lovely hike with Chris on an ideal day. We chatted with many nice people but it wasn't at all crowded. This remains NH's crown jewel on a day like today.
