Comments
Comments: We bare booted to around 3500 feet, and then spikes to Lake of Clouds hut, and there was no need for spikes to Monroe or Washington. There was traces of snow, but slushy enough so no issues. Lots of water running down the trail. The Cog is running so lots of people milling around the summit, and that was the only source of "life" we had seen all day. We descended via the shortest and most direct path, down the Cog RR "path"
Lots of mud, and snow fields to around 3000 feet, but bare booting was fine. Below 3000 feet was a dry trail, and we walked the road back to Ammonoosuc Parking lots.
