Trail is in good shape. There was one well-rotted tree top blowdown across the trail not far from the top. We pulled off most of the limbs to make it an easy step-over. As an afterthought, I just grabbed the light end and swung it totally off the trail. |

When we got back down, Sandwich Fire was arriving at Mead Base. There was a report of someone with an ankle injury. The crew were preparing a rescue litter and awaiting others to arrive. |
