Comments
Comments: Up Gale River, Up Garfield Ridge Trail, Up Twinway to South, North and then South Twin - plenty of snow, monorail stable in the AM. No bare spots between South and North. Frost Trail about 1/2 monorail, 1/2 open. Garfield Ridge Trail about 30% open, 70% monorail. Garfield Trail monorail to about the Garfield Pond Trail/Herd path, and intermittent for short while below. When it finally disappeared, it completely disappeared. I went right on the snowmobile trail after the first crossing (downhill) of Thompson Brook but can't imagine the other crossings are difficult right now. Snowshoes would not be overkill in the afternoon(s) or after several days above freezing - at least not between the two Twins. Everywhere else, probably not necessary for the rest of this spring.
