Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking at the Hancock Lot.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable)
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment: Light Traction
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No issues...all easily crossed. The crossing at the col coming off North disappears into the ground...lots of water flowing off the slope but manages to flow underground for quite a ways. I didn't follow it to see where it emerges again but pretty interesting.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail's are in good shape....some good samaratin has cleared all blow-downs.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: no pups today but one poop bag left dangling from a tree limb along the trail. How hard would it be to just flick the dog shit out of the trail and leave the bags at home?
Bugs
Bugs: not yet...too cold still and was snowing on top briefly.
Lost and Found

Comments
Comments: Quick hike up South and down North. The ascent up South was the only icy section...but no problems with spikes. Coming down North was ice-free if not gravelly.
