 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of parking at the Hancock Lot. |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable) |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
No issues...all easily crossed. The crossing at the col coming off North disappears into the ground...lots of water flowing off the slope but manages to flow underground for quite a ways. I didn't follow it to see where it emerges again but pretty interesting. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail's are in good shape....some good samaratin has cleared all blow-downs. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
no pups today but one poop bag left dangling from a tree limb along the trail. How hard would it be to just flick the dog shit out of the trail and leave the bags at home? |
|
 | Bugs: |
not yet...too cold still and was snowing on top briefly. |

 | Comments: |
Quick hike up South and down North. The ascent up South was the only icy section...but no problems with spikes. Coming down North was ice-free if not gravelly. |
