Comments
Comments: Beginning of trail carpeted with thousands of trout lilies. One yellow violet. One painted trillium. Several red trillium. We carried our spikes, you may wish to take them along just in case, lots of icy monorail in the higher elevations. Remember the view scaping from a few years ago? Those trees are growing in. Sosman Trail has two spur paths. One has excellent views, the other is getting obstructed (and ironically has a nice bench). Maybe they should move the bench to the other spot.

We took the slopes down until we came to the opening where you can pick up the trail again (just above the last water crossing). Beautiful views while descending, took frequent breaks to rest our knees. Nice day, good work out (stair master!), but my preferred route to Tecumseh is from the Tripoli Road. If you find this trail too steep, then take the other end. You'll have to wait for Tripoli Road to open.

Great day! Pretty streams and flowers.
