| Water Crossing Notes: |
Gem pool and Ammo crossings were rock hoppable. On top of Ammo it requires a little help from a tree limb to get “up†to the snow/trail while standing in a little running water. The crossing on Jewel at Cog was high and fast. Since it was end of my hike I just walked through. Not a good crossing without provisions (shorts/water shoes - then change) I got wet to my knees for the 3 min walk to my car. |

| Comments: |
Pretty spectacular May hike with very good trail conditions (no postholing) due to coldish overnight temps. Bright sun til noon, moderate temps felt pretty hot in sun, and barely a whisper of wind |
