Comments: Beautiful day on the Bonds! My ten year old son completed his NH 48 today on this hike. Started at 5:40 am and ended at 5:10 pm for just under 13 hours which included lengthy stops on the peaks. We only saw two other groups on the Bondcliff trail all day. The conditions were amazing. The first 7 miles were snow free and not too muddy at all. Snow in the mile leading up to Bondcliff summit—solid on the way up but slippery on the way down. The ridge to Bond was totally bare and breathtaking! In between Bond and West Bond, there was snow (with some post holing) but snowshoes would not have really helped here. It won’t be long until all of the snow is gone. Great hike!
