| Dog-Related Notes: |
the only part of the whole hike that my little girl had issue with is the grates on the stair landings up to the fire tower, but after all her hard work, I carried her over them and up the stairs! |
|
| Bugs: |
The bugs were doubling up their efforts and attacking any open surface they could find in the first two miles. Muddy, wet, standing water and mosquitos! |
|
| Lost and Found: |
found a water bottle off trail that looked like it had been there a while. There is also a box spring on the summit if someone lost it I left it there. Looks pretty old. |

| Comments: |
This was the day for the final finish. Four of us finished our four thousand footers today on Carrigain. Me, Kali my dog, Scott and Chris his brother. The weather was beautiful albeit a bit windy on top. The views will forever be etched in my mind. Good times. Thank you Kevin for great conversations on the way down. There is a great little pool on the last mile of the trail that Erik and I jumped into. Let me tell you, it was cold and refreshing! Thank yous also to Bill and the other Chris. |
