| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Well they widen the lot... and it was utilized when we came back down. Even people parking on the grass and 1 car recieved a summons on their window. It seemed like the summer it was crazy! We had gotten to the lot at 7:20 and there were wt least 10 cars already there. When we left, i would say 30 at least were there still. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
The crossing at tom wiggin trail was the only one. We had to cross above the fork, so two times and make a decent leap on the first one. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
I cut a chunk out of one blowdown on tom wiggin but it needs a better clean up than I gave it. I know there were a few others that I could not place on the trip that need assistance but nothing you can’t get by |

| Comments: |
Well we went out for an out and back as Whiteface was all we wanted. It is still crazy how people Think the ledges are the peak... well I tried to note when we saw snow and it was about 3400’ and 3700’. Only closer to the ledge at 3900’ was there a monorail that stayed. I was shocked it was so high. Once on rollins trail, i would suggest spikes for sure. Not sure how much longer it will last but they only got a dusting from the previous night storm. We ended up going down tom wiggin trail for someone in the group that needed it. Which was a nice choice as the conga line of people still coming up was getting annoying trying to go around. We only saw 1 person on tom wiggin and 1 on dicey mill trail. Thankfully I won’t hike on the weekend again til June. |
