There was one other car at the parking lot at 8:30 am and 4 more when I left at 2:15 pm. During the bike ride I saw a porcupine, and during the beginning of the trail I saw a snowy owl! A very good day with a mix of two seasons, the start was bare and clear skies, and at the top was snowy, windy, and socked in. Patches of snow started at 2400’ solid monorail was at 3200’ and crampons went on at 3600’ saw three other people for the whole day. |
