 | Water Crossing Notes: |
The water crossings were high after this week's rain. I was able to cross every one by rock hopping without getting my feet wet. In one case this involved walking upstream to look for a good spot to cross. |

 | Comments: |
At lower elevations, gale river trail is covered with running water and mud. There was a few inches of new snow at higher elevations friday night. Microspikes were all that was needed although snowshoes would have been more efficient in some places. There are postholes out there. |
