1st time in this range, I will be back! 1st hike since November, no snow, ice, traction, light pack. Cold windy start. Warmed right up, no views to speak of but a fantastic hike. Gentle grades, switchbacks, soft trails. Trails are well blazed although signage could be better, sorry I’m used to the whites. West Quarry summit is across From sign on tree, missed herd path the 1st time. Nice relaxing hike, we took our time, extended lunch in the sun. Great day great hike great company an A+ day!!!! |
