| Comments: |
Bare ground until just after Wilderness sign. Trail was fairly dry with only a couple sections of avoidable mud. Put on sharper microspikes after the snow started before the ravine. Kept them on to Middle Tripyramid and back. Solid, flatish monorail. For April, it was pleasant and fast conditions. Snowshoes went for a ride today, but as the temperatures rise, they may be needed. A fun Monday with Tara and Gypsy Hiker. Saw no one! |
