Comments
Comments: Wind as advertised but air temp was colder then predicted. Full winter hike. Bare boots up through the hardwoods. At the spruce woods went to spikes. Brought rock spikes and wish I had the sharper ones as the ice was hard with no softening. Between Starr King and Waumbek the trail conditions were perfect! Fast one mile! Friendly Spruce grouse on summit. Hoping for a more springlike day but still a great day out with Karen and Dave!
