Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Mostly bridged. Crossings of Carleton brook on Diagonal and Glenside were rock-hoppable but not trivial (especially attached by leash to a hound who had picked up a scent...)
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All well marked. Didn’t note any large blow downs. I love bog boards
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Dog had a great time. I could’ve done without whatever scent he caught in the area around bee line & just north of mossy glen...
Bugs
Bugs: Some black flies and possibly a mosquito or two. Will definitely check for ticks

Comments
Comments: What a day! 10 new trails. Really enjoyed exploring this little network with on and off views of the snowy presidentials. The majority of the time was dry trail but each trail had its muddy spots. Total mileage ended up being about 9.3 to trace everything and road walk back to the car. Would love to go back to the waterfalls and mossy glen when my dog isn’t going insane over a scent :)
