Beautiful low wind and clear day for these peaks. I was able to bareboot to the beginning of the last two pitches of the Gale River Trail. Snowshoes stayed until returning to slightly below the point of putting them on approx 2812 ft. Garfield Ridge Trail, Frost Trail has seen recent activity and trail while soft was well packed. Twinway on to South Twin and over to North Twin wasnt broken out with between 6 inches up to approximately 10+ inches of snow with occasional higher drifts. It was nice crossing paths with a fellow Gridder today and hiking for a bit. Crossed paths with 5 other hikers enjoying this super late April day. Highly recommend snowshoes if hiking this in the next few days as the snowpack is still quite deep in places.
