| Comments: |
Bare booted from the trail head to the dense woods then microspiked to the summit and back to the open woods. The trail was well compacted but a little soft as the afternoon warmed up. No postholes anywhere as there isn't much snow depth left. No need for snowshoes although others did use them on the upper section of trail. Only about a foot of compacted snow in the woods around the summit. There were recent snowshoe and boot tracks on the Kilkenny Ridge trail heading toward Cabot. |
