Gate was open around 730 AM, take the first right once into the Hatchery and trail head is up next to building at end, left side.. |

quite a few small ones on Mill Brook Trail, easily stepped over or rock hops... |

many step over larger blow downs...sawed up quite a few protruding small/medium blow downs on the way back on Mill Brook Trail, but both trail have really no obstacles other than step overs.. |

saw recent dog prints at the beginning of trail and in mud..up near KRT jct saw coyote tracks and also bobcat tracks, moose etc.. |

Mill Brook Trail of course is relatively gentle for it's 3.6 to the Kilkenny Ridge Jct..minimal snow really, barebooted to near the campsite and switched to microspikes..snow was really soft, not more than 3 inches with only a pocket or two of somewhat deeper snow. Not a bad view though clouds moved in and some light rain, still got to see the view from the ledge... |
