Comments
Comments: Dry trail up Wonalancet Range until about 1700 feet when the snow cover began. Switched to micros a bit past the wilderness sign. Snow was like cement. Was anywhere from 5 to 10 inches deep up top. We debated switching to snowshoes once or twice, but it just never felt quite right. Met a nice couple who did the same loop in the opposite direction and were kind enough to break out the trail along the Hedgehog for us. Snow lingered on Old Mast Road until about 1400 feet when it simply vanished.
