Started in early-ish, around 8a. Trail was packed down and stable enough to bareboot from start to finish. There were some drifts around the summit that would’ve been better tackled with snowshoes, but they were brief and with crappy weather conditions, I felt it made more sense to trudge through those brief sections. They were quickly refilling behind us with blowing snow. The trail was softening somewhat on the descent. A great day to be out, as always |
