 | Comments: |
Great day for a lengthy out-and-back on the Monadnock-Sunapee Greenway, from Halfmoon Pond to the summit of Mt. Sunapee. Many scenic views in the section between Lucia's Lookout and Mt. Sunapee, and Lake Solitude was definitely a highlight. Most of the trail was dry. There were a few small remnants of monorail from Lake Solitude north to Mt. Sunapee, but I never even considered taking the microspikes out of my pack. Didn't see a soul for the first 13.8 miles heading north, which is a win during the pandemic! |
