Plenty of parking on a rainy Monday - mine was the only car when I started and one other was there when I finished. |

Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow - Spring Snow, Snow/Ice - Postholes |

Several crossings but all either step-over or short rock hops that are very easy. |

Several blowdowns - all easily gone around or step over - some have recently been cut away. |

Lower sections of the trail were mostly dry. Many muddy spots but all easily avoided. Higher up was drier with a few patches of ice/snow all easily avoided. Eastman Mountain trail was different. Either dry and easy or post-holing in soft snow that could not be avoided. I carried spikes but did not consider it worth putting them on. I did wish I had worn gaiters. No views on this rainy / misty day. |
