Comments
Comments: Light drizzle for this with moderate temps. With the ski area closed for the season uphill day access was no issue. Barebooted on mostly bare ground until top of stray cat then snowshoes for duration of hike to this point. Ski Trails were loose granular. Wildcat Ridge Trail had a few spots of exposed rock but a decent snowpack remains. Unfortunately the trail is extremely tilled up and postholed. The worst I've seen all winter and spring.. An out and back did smooth things out a bit, but trail is still very soft and chewed up- highly recommend snowshoes if going across the ridge. 574/576.
