| Comments: |
I carried snowshoes but the snow was stabile with no postholing. If the weather continues to be warm there could be postholing but I would not carry snowshoes for the limited times they might be needed. I would have been better off with old spikes for the lower sections were there was combo of ice, rocks, and dirt. There were a lot of people without spikes who were slipping on the ice. The ridge was bare. Great day above tree line. |
