Comments
Comments: There were several people who said they'd made it all the way up East Osceola, but I was not one of them. This is one of those times when you're either stopping to switch traction every five minutes or wearing the wrong traction most of the time, and there's no truly good combination. Many people barebooted but seemed unhappy about it. Microspikes are probably doable most of the way, though there are several stretches where I wore my snowshoes. Bottom line: This trail is melting down and not much fun right now.
