Beautiful warm day, which meant melting snow/ice throughout the day. Dry trail in beginning but put on our micro spikes about a half of a mile in. Monorail continued to the peak except for the rocks near the summit. There were some sketchy spots due to post holes and melting snow which turned into water that flowed into the brook underneath it. Saw lots of groups, some bare boots but most often we saw spikes. Some a few fearless pups too, Fantastic views and a great day to be out in the mountains! |
