Large dirt lot just passed Crotched Mountain School. Only a handful of others there late Friday afternoon. |

Only one very small crossing was easy to navigate over a few exposed rocks |

Lower part of Shannon’s Trail could definitely use more yellow blazes, even though the trail itself is fairly apparent |

Trail was in great condition - snow and ice free. Only one small patch of mud that wasn’t too deep going right through. Gorgeous views from the lookout. |
