Comments
Comments: We encountered our first patches of snow and ice at 2200 ft of elevation. Intermittent on the Mast Road trail and Cabin trail and usually underneath the spruce and hemlock. The Lawrence trail has significant monorail and snow cover for most of the distance between Mast Road and Cabin with the exception of the area just east of the Kelly trail junction. While we were able to navigate the monorail sections we had to take it slow and there was minor postholing.
