Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All rock hoppable right now at low water, but I can't imagine attempting this loop in moderate or high water. Borderline ridiculous number of crossings on the Mt. Clinton alleged trail.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Plenty of stepovers on Dry River Trail - cut out a few duck unders. Cut out a few duck unders on Mt. Eisenhower Trail (the trail misses its Iron & Wine adopter), a few remain. Mt. Clinton alleged trail below Dry River Cut Off is in terrible shape.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Deer flies and mosquitoes vexing at times below 3,000 feet.

Comments
Comments: Dry River Trail, Mt. Eisenhower Trail, Crawford Path, Eisenhower Loop, and Webster Cliff Trail were all generally dry. Ran into more people than we would have expected, but still relatively quiet as compared to once on the ridge.

Mt. Clinton Trail from the hut down was fine - until reaching the Dry River Cutoff. From there, it was perhaps the worst open trail I've seen in the Whites in terms of lack of maintenance. Very, very brushy. Plenty of blowdowns. Very few trail markings. Plenty of mud pits. Lots of water crossings. This would be a bad choice for someone not comfortable with navigation.
