One big blowdown fairly low down. |

Considerable ice under a light layer of fresh snow up to Jackson-Webster branch split made microspikes the way to go. Above that, up to about 5" fresh snow was ok with spikes, but definitely better when switched to snowshoes for the way down. Spikes for summit cone. Monorail emerging above 3000', with just the occasional posthole off to the side. |
