Bareboots for maybe a mile then sharp spikes required the rest of the hike. There was still enough snow/ice on the ledges/slabs that we could walk right up with a little extra caution. There was no real monorail to deal with. Overall much better conditions than I expected. It was snowing and blowing significantly as we got higher and there was about 1 inch of accumulation which made coming down a little slower since we couldn't see if there was ice under the new snow... but still not difficult. |
