Comments
Comments: Moose Mountain Lodge Road, Ridge Trail, Appalachian Trail (out and back)

Moose Mountain Lodge Road was free from snow; however, it of course was WET. Firm in the early morning, and SOFT (sinkable!) on the afternoon return...leaving our footprints all the way on return (the whole from South Knob to the gate where the parking is). RIDGE TRAIL and A.T. leaf covered (frozen, firm in the am on ascent, and wet on the descent in the afternoon). Full sun today. Trace/small amounts of snow once you reach the A.T. but no supplemental traction was required at all. It was a lovely hike.
