Comments
Comments: About 2in. of new snow at the start. I bushwhacked uphill from the rest area, quickly hitting the Greenleaf tr. I started in bareboots, but as soon as I felt old snow under the new I put on snowshoes. Snow depths quickly became considerable and there was some drifting above the hut. Lots of blue ice headed up to Lafayette. The ridge had lots of bare rock and some blue ice.
