Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: On the bridge before the crossing at outlet of lower Greeley was a downed tree across the bridge about 6 inches in diameter needing a saw. I used my saw to cut some branches to allow easier passage.

Comments
Comments: Used MicroSpikes in the morning and on the return the trail was getting slushy. Further in there is enough snow that will warrant snowshoes as the temperatures rise. Just a great day to go out to the frozen ponds, set deep within the mountain walls of Mad River Notch! Blue sky day! Had lunch at Upper Greeley Pond on its sunny frozen shore beneath tall red spruces and white pines. Mad River Notch and the Greeley Ponds are spectacular in early spring!
