Busy day out there. Glad to be 2 nd group to summit bc messy on lower elevations closer to end of trail. Trail started nice and frozen, hard pack, consolidated snow on trail. Used hillsounds all day, carried those snow shoes. Knew the warmer day would bring mash potatoes, slippery, postholing mess. And it did. Great day out there but high traffic on Saturday and referees might make for a mess in the coming days. |
