Comments
Comments: The trails survived this past week's warm termperatures well. The snow was slushy near the bottom but firm up higher. I recommend switching to snowshoes after the second difficult water crossing; you will want your feet free for that. Considerable post-holing on parts of the A-Z. I recommend investing in a butt-protective sled because the ice and rocks are near the surface. Microspikes are good for the way back down so long but one step off the trail and you'll sink past your knees.
