Comments
Comments: Excellent hike up to Mount Moriah via Stony Brook Trail. Spring conditions fully in place complete with narrow, eroding monorail, flowing water, postholes made this quite a character builder. Started in micros switched to snowshoes at 2200 feet switched back to micros shortly after the end of Stony Brook. Micros stayed on until they weren't then switched to snowshoes to retrace my steps... Back to spikes at Mt Surpise until about 1700 feet in elevation and then was able to bareboot out. At this time CM Trail is in much better shape then SB.It was nice meeting and chatting with several others enjoying this beautiful day including NETC Royalty and fellow Gridders.
