| Comments: |
Trail was in excellent condition. The soft/wet snow froze overnight to a stable crust. We decided to go up South Peak, over to North peak, and then back the way we came. Butt sledding down South peak was epic. Was able to sled down the entire 0.5 miles from South Peak to the base without stopping. It may not last much longer with the melt. Wore spikes the entire time, but they were only necessary going up South Peak. Snowshoes stayed attached to my pack the entire time. Snow was very stable in the morning, even off trail. This probably wont last as it warms up. |
