This is posted primarily to advise of found cell phone. First on the trail at 7:25, a nice 27 degrees to start on firm treadway, put Hillsounds on at the start of the whack and left them on till descending at the bottom of the steeps when snowshoes went on due to mash-potato snow. Some impressive post holes on display. When will they learn. Steeps in the morning were a virtual luge run due to sledders the day before, slick ice. Amazing views on a blue-bird sky day, virtually no wind with warm temps. Shout out to Doug who caught up to me just before the tent site. We encountered no others on the trail till back at Mt. Liberty. Flume was 190/192. |
